Cycling to the many wineries close to Blenheim and tasting Marlborough wines is a popular activity. This journey can now include our newly established Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre which depicts Great War aircraft in visually stunning theatrical scenes.

There are bicycles available for our guests to hire at $20/day. Or we may be able to help with your choice of one of many guided tours that are available.

Marlborough is also a region where visitors can work in the vineyards. So if you feel like a new experience and need to boost your funds contact us. We can give you updates on what jobs are available. Our hostel has some rooms at a cheaper weekly rate.

Blenheim is a popular base for round daytrips including the Marlborough Sounds for cruises or kayaking, Nelson Lakes for bushwalks or skiing and to Kaikoura for Whalewatch or dolphin swimming.
